A special invoice, called a "super bill" can be provided to you free of charge to submit to your insurance carrier or FSA/HSA for possible reimbursement. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance carrier to determine what reimbursement, if any, you will receive. Credit/debit cards are accepted and will be required at the time you schedule your appointment to hold your appointment time. You will not be charged unless we complete your evaluation, you cancelled your appointment after the grace period, or you are a no-show.
This option works well for prospective patients interested in traditional psychiatric care.
$400/Initial Diagnostic Evaluation (75 min) + Treatment Design Fee & Report
This covers your first appointment and the time it takes in advance to review your intake paperwork and any other documentation you provide. Your custom bio-individuality lab testing and treatment design fee will vary. Should you decide to move forward, you will be billed in advanced for the entire amount which must be paid to begin treatment.

Dr. Patterson offers modern, quality mental health treatment using a secure, HIPAA compliant telepsychiatry platform. You must live in the state where Dr. Patterson is licensed to be treated via telepsychiatry.

Initial Diagnostic Evaluation
All new clients must complete an initial psychiatric evaluation. This is to learn about your current symptoms, your past, and your goals for treatment. This may involve, with your permission, contacting providers or family members who know you well and who may provide a richer perspective on your concerns. After the assessment, we will review evidence-based treatments and possible referrals to other providers to promote wellness. Appointment length may vary based on amount of information provided upon intake, extent of psychiatric history and other factors. With insurance, the average appointments time for are up to 45 minutes in length. Each decision about your treatment will be made together after extensive education so that you feel comfortable and confident about your plan of care and treatment.

Follow Up/Medication Management
These are follow up appointments to evaluate efficacy of the current treatment regimen and/or efficacy of medications prescribed . Appointment length is again very individualistic, but typically, patients can expect up to a 20 minute appointment. Frequency is determined in collaboration with the client. Medication prescriptions are faxed or prescribed electronically per the receiving pharmacy's preference.

Additional fees for phone calls, letters, emails, reports, etc. will be charged and determined on a time for service basis for established patients.
